Meet the Staff

Dr. Mandi Hundley

Dr. Mandi Hundley is our Nurse Practitioner, with 18 years of experience in the health care field. She obtained her undergrad degree from Penn State, her Masters degree from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Missouri State University. She is an Independent Family Nurse Practitioner and is accredited and board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She moved to Martinsville from Pittsburgh in 2013 and has worked in a variety of clinical settings including Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and currently works full time in Oncology/Hematology. She recognized a need for additional wellness services in our community, and is excited to be able to provide exceptional care to Martinsville and Henry County. Her favorite thing about health care is people- she loves being able to invest in the lives of her clients and build long-lasting relationships.

Outside of healthcare, her passions include working with her nonprofit organization in Tanzania, hiking, traveling, and enjoying the married life with her husband and their puppies.

Travis Hundley

Travis Hundley is our business mastermind. His background is in supply chain management and he has successfully started and managed businesses both here and in Europe. He is originally from Martinsville, but left after high school to serve in the United States Air Force where he spent time all over the world before eventually returning to Charlotte, and then back home to Martinsville. At The Wellness Bar, he makes sure things are running smoothly behind the scenes and always pushes us to dream bigger and work harder. His favorite thing about being a part of the Bar is being able to connect with clients and build relationships with other local businesses.

Outside of the professional world, his passions include traveling, technology, family, motorcycles, and trying to convince Mandi they don’t need any more dogs.

Greer Shrewsberry

Greer Shrewsberry has been a Registered Nurse since 2004. She has worked previously in various settings including med-surg, orthopedics, critical care, and hospice…and now works full time as the Manager at The Wellness Bar. She joined our team in May 2022, and says that her favorite part of nursing is being able to empower her patients to take control of their health. When she’s not managing the Bar, she loves traveling with her husband, spending time with her girlfriends, and spoiling all the puppies- especially her baby, Killer.

Elisa Landwehr

Elisa Landwehr has been a Registered Nurse since 2003 and worked in health care since 1991, working in various settings including neurotrauma PCU, surgical PCU, hospice, pediatrics, orthopedics, and oncology. She is currently working part time in home infusions, and joined our team in May 2022. She is currently enrolled in school studying Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching. Her favorite part of nursing is being able to support and help clients meet their health goals. Outside of nursing, she is a hobby breeder of miniature schnauzers and toy poodles, and enjoys spending time with her family and grandkids.

Miranda Burek

Miranda Burek has been an RN for 4 years, and obtained her nursing degree from Patrick & Henry. She currently works full time at an Infusion Center in Roanoke, and also joined our team in May 2022. Her favorite part of nursing is being able to follow her patient’s progress from before and after infusions, and starting IVs. She and her husband just welcomed their first baby and she is loving the new-mom life, and she enjoys camping with her family in her free time.

Angie Richardson

Angie has been an LPN for 31 years, and obtained her nursing degree from Memorial Hospital of MHC School of Practical Nursing. She is currently working full time at Carilion Clinic Rocky Mount Family Practice, and joined our team in May 2023. Angie’s favorite part of nursing is the relationships she builds with patients and their families. Outside of nursing, she loves spending time with her family, crafting, and scrapbooking.

Denise Reamey

Denise has worked as a CMA since 1998, with experience in dermatology, orthopedics, ENT, and family medicine. She joined our team in May 2023, and her favorite part of working at The Wellness Bar is being able to get to know our clients and build relationships, and being able to follow their progress and health journeys. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her grandbaby, going to the beach, and doing yardwork.

Taylor Hodge

Taylor has been an RN for 4.5 years and has worked as an Oncology infusion nurse during that time. She got her RN degree from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, and joined our team in May 2023. Her favorite part of healthcare has been the opportunity to build relationships with her patients. Outside of health care, she loves spending time with friends and family, and her two furbabies.

Alina Roberts

Alina has been an RN for 2 years, and graduated with her nursing degree from Piedmont University in Georgia. She recently moved to Martinsville where she has worked in the Emergency Room, and joined our team in April 2023. She loves healthcare because she enjoys helping people better themselves physically and mentally. In addition to nursing she enjoys reading, playing with her dog, and being out in the sun!

Ivy

Ivy is our Wellness Bar celebrity. She is currently being trained as a therapy dog, and will greet you at the door with all the puppy kisses you can stand. She loves to snuggle and make you forget all about your fear of needles. When she’s not at the Bar, she loves getting out all of her puppy zoomies around the house and pestering her fur-brothers. She’ll also do just about anything for a treat!
